Does Eider move money?
No. Never. You pay through your bank, a payment app, or cash, then record it here. Bank sync is read-only: it can't make a payment or a transfer.
Does everyone need an account?
No. You can name the other member without sending an invite, and the running balance still works.
What does a nest with one person do?
It keeps the shared record, and the balance is ready the moment they join.
Do you simplify who pays whom?
No. Every pair settles with each other directly - a debt is never rerouted through a third person. What collapses is the many expenses between two people, down to one number.
What is Plus?
Plus is Eider's paid membership. It adds receipt scanning, the receipt library, split by item and bank sync. A monthly membership covers just you. An annual one also lets everyone in the nests you create scan receipts and split by item. The receipt library, bank sync and early access stay with the subscriber.
Can I use it in a browser?
Yes, and nothing needs installing. The iPhone and Android apps read the same nests.
